This is one of my families favs,they will not strike up the grill without it.I will say it is better than the store bought,I have also changed up the flavor as well try instead rootbeer,or cheery cola,or dr,pepper even.

1 cup cola
1 cup ketchup
1/4 cup worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon liquid smoke
3 tablespoons steak sauce
1 teaspoon onion flakes, dehydrated
1 teaspoon granulated garlic
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

How To Make cola bbq sauce

Step 1

In a medium sauce pan combine all ingredients.Bring to a boil over med-high heat.Reduce heat to simmer 8 to 10 min.Will thicken slightly upon reduction.Transfer to a glass jar.Will keep for 2 months in tightly closed jar,or use at once.
