Ingredients

  • 1 - 14 oz
    can eagle brand sweetened condensed milk
  • 2
    egg yolks, beaten
  • 1/4 c
    butter
  • 1/2 c
    flaked coconut
  • 1/2 c
    chopped pecans
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract

How to Make Coconut Pecan Sauce

Step-by-Step

  1. In a heavy saucepan, combine sweetened condensed milk,egg yolks and butter.

    Over medium heat, cook and stir until thickened and bubbly, about 8 minutes.

    Stir in remaining ingredients.
  2. Serve warm over ice cream or cake.

    To reheat, in a small saucepan, combine desired amount of sauce with small amount of water. Over low heat until heated through.
