Ok I love this sauce whenever I get chinese food, especially with my egg rolls with some of that hot mustard (yeah I know I'm silly but that's what I like ya know,lol).

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce, dark
  • 1 tablespoon dry white wine
  • 3 tablespoons wine vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons catsup
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup water

How To Make chinese sweet and sour sauce

  • Step 1
    Combine sugar,soy sauce,wine,vinegar, and catsup in saucepan, bring to a boil.
  • Step 2
    Dissolve cornstarch in water, add to sauce. Cook over low heat, stirring until sauce has thickened.
