I am a Chili Dog fan. Love them anytime. Lunch or Dinner. This is a great Sauce and easy to do.

  • 2 1/2 lb
    lean ground beef
  • 3 medium
    onions, chopped
  • 1 medium
    green pepper, chopped
  • 1
    garlic clove, minced
  • 1 bottle
    (28 oz.) ketchup
  • 1/4 c
    chili powder
  • ·
    hot dogs, heated
  • ·
    hot dog buns, split
  • ·
    shredded cheddar

How to Make Chili Dog Sauce


  1. In lg. saucepan, cook beef, onions, green
    pepper and garlic; drain.
  2. Stir in ketchup and
    chili powder. Simmer, uncovered, for 2 1/2
    hours stirring occasionally
  3. Serve over hot
    dogs in buns, sprinkle with cheese. Makes
    6 cups sauce.
