I am a Chili Dog fan. Love them anytime. Lunch or Dinner. This is a great Sauce and easy to do.

Ingredients

2 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
3 medium onions, chopped
1 medium green pepper, chopped
1 - garlic clove, minced
1 bottle (28 oz.) ketchup
1/4 cup chili powder
- hot dogs, heated
- hot dog buns, split
- shredded cheddar

How To Make chili dog sauce

Step 1

In lg. saucepan, cook beef, onions, green pepper and garlic; drain.

Step 2

Stir in ketchup and chili powder. Simmer, uncovered, for 2 1/2 hours stirring occasionally
Step 3

Serve over hot dogs in buns, sprinkle with cheese. Makes 6 cups sauce.
