Cheddar Cheese Sauce

I make up a whole jar of this powder (3 or 6 times the recipe listed here), then mix 1/3 cup powder with 1 cup of milk and voila smooth cheddar sauce to die for.
Note: I purchase dehydrated cheese and butter powder over the internet.

1/3 cdehydrated cheddar cheese powder

3 Tbspdehydrated butter powder or flakes

3 Tbspflour

2 Tbspcornstarch

1/2 tspsalt

1/8 tspwhite pepper

1/8 tsponion powder

1/8 tspgarlic powder
How to Make Cheddar Cheese Sauce
- Combine all ingredients in a bowl mixing thoroughly! Store in airtight jar. No need to refrigerate. Use within 6 months.
- To make the sauce, combine 1 cup milk with 1/3 cup mix in a small sauce pan over medium heat stirring constantly with a whisk. Bring to a full boil. Makes 1 cup of sauce.
