tartar sauce (my own recipe)
This is a simple and quick recipe for a basic tartar sauce. Some prefer dill relish while others like sweet. I use dill but use what you like. Very versatile on most any seafood and also as a sandwich spread!

Ingredients
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon dill relish (could use sweet if preferred)
- 1 tablespoon fine minced green onion - use some of the green tops too
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon prepared horseradish - add more if desired
- 1/2 teaspoon dried dill weed
- Small dash worcestershire sauce ( a few drops)
How To Make tartar sauce (my own recipe)

Step 1Mince onion very fine. Be sure and add some of the green tops...mince it well. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Make sure it's thoroughly blended.

Step 2Store in a bowl or bottle with a tight fitting cap or lid. Refrigerate. Best if it sits in the fridge overnight or at least 6 to 8 hrs. Great with most any kind of seafood!
