A really good caramel sauce for whatever you want....ice cream, pudding...I made it and put it on Peggi's Caramel Apple Coffee Cake and it was fantastic!! *Recipe from Simply Recipes

- 1 cup sugar
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
How To Make caramel sauce

Step 1Have everything ready. Use a big pot as it boils and foams up. Melt the sugar over moderate heat stirring vigorously with a wooden spoon. As soon as the sugar starts to boil stop stirring.You can lift pot and swirl the sauce. BE CAREFUL NOT TO BURN. As soon a s it turns an amber color and all sugar crystals are gone add butter and stir til melted. Remove from heat...count to 3 an d add cream. Stir til smooth and creamy. Be careful...ITS HOT!! let cool for a couple on mins. Pour into glass jar.Cool to room temperature and can be stored in fridge. Heat before serving.
