MY AUNT USE TO MAKE THIS CARAMEL FROSTING WHEN I WAS GROWING UP AND WHEN YOU TASTED IT, YOU JUST HAD TO HAVE MORE.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (12fl) ounce evaporated milk
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 stick unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

How To Make caramel frosting

  • Step 1
    OVER VERY LOW HEAT, MELT BUTTER IN A POT, ONCE MELTED ADD MILK, THEN GRADUALLY ADD SUGAR. YOU HAVE TO KEEP STIRRING, ONCE THE SUGAR IS ADDED OR YOU WILL SCORCH IT. YOU SHOULD STIR SLOW AND CONSTANT . THEN ADD VANILLA AND KEEP STIRRING UNTIL IT BECOME ALMOST CANDY LIKE.
