Ingredients For caramel frosting

  • 2 c
    brown sugar or splenda brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp
    butter or light margarine
  • 6 Tbsp
    cream or cream cheese low-fat

How To Make caramel frosting

  • 1
    Boil ingredients together until mixture threads from spoon, or forms a soft ball. When dropped in cold water. Cool, add flavoring.

    Beat until of fudge like consistency. Spread quickly on cake.

    Splendid for nut or ginger cake.
