Ingredients
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup heavy cream, heated
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
How To Make caramel buttercream

Step 1Stir the sugar and 3 T. water in a small heavy bottomed saucepan over low heat. Increase heat to high and bring to a boil. Wait few minutes leaving pan, but watching it as it changes to caramel color and is thicker, remove from heat stand back, and gradually stir in the cream.Keep stirring, adding salt and vanilla. Cool.
