  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cups corn syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1-1/2 teaspoon maple flavoring

How To Make buttery maple syrup

  • Step 1
    Combine water,sugar,corn syrup,salt and butter in a heavy saucepan;cook over medium heat until mixture reaches a full boil,stirring occasionally. Boil the syrup for 7 minutes;remove from heat and allow to cook for 15 mins. Stir in maple flavoring;allow to cool to warm before serving.
