butterscotch sauce for ice cream and desserts
Was looking over a cook book when I found this and many others for sauses made with marshmallow fluff. Would be wonderful in a basket of ice cream toppings with a couple of sundae dishes.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup marshmallow fluff
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup water
How To Make butterscotch sauce for ice cream and desserts

Step 1Place the fluff and butter in a mixing bowl and set aside.

Step 2In a small sauce pan heat the sugar and water over medium high heat until it reaches the soft ball stage (235 degrees)about 4-5 minutes.

Step 3add sugar mixture to the fluff and stir to combine. great served warm on ice cream, rice pudding, french toast and about any pound cake.
