This is a Spicy, bold and thick BBQ sauce, especially good on chicken and pork. I've been making this sauce for years and it is my favorite bbq sauce to this day. When we fire up the grill this sauce is usually not far behind. Enjoy :)

Ingredients

  • 1/2 large onion chopped finely
  • 40 ounces ketchup
  • 6 tablespoons cider vinegar
  • 6 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/4 cups brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons cayenne pepper (or to taste depending on how spicy you like it.)
  • 1 can tomatoe paste

How To Make buffalo bbq sauce

  • Step 1
    In a medium saucepan combine all ingredients except tomatoe paste and bring to a boil.
  • Step 2
    Turn heat down to low and simmer for 20 minutes stirring occasionally.
  • Step 3
    Stir in tomatoe paste until well blended and simmer a couple more minutes. Use as you would any bbq sauce.
