Ingredients

1/2 largeonion, minced

four clovegarlic, minced

3/4 cbourbon whiskey....your choice of brand

1/2 tsppepper

1/2 tspsalt

2 cketchup

1/4 ctomato paste

1/3 ccider vinegar
-
2 Tbspliquid smoke flavoring

1/4 cworcestershire sauce

1/2 cbrown sugar, firmly packed

1/3 tsphot sauce
How to Make Bourbon Whiskey Barbecue Sauce
- OPEN DOOR OR WINDOWS BEFORE STARTING>>>In a large skillet over medium heat, combine the onion, garlic and whiskey. Simmer for ten minutes or until the onions are clear. Mix in remaining ingredients.
- Bring to a boil, reduce heat to medium low and simmer for 20 minutes.. Run through a sieve if you prefer a smoother sauce
- You can double and triple this recipe to can it if you like.
