Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup brown ale beer
  • 4 cups shredded white cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • hot sauce, to taste

How To Make beer cheese

  • Step 1
    Add butter to a small saucepan. Add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Pour in the beer and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and let cool.
  • Step 2
    Place the cheese, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, Dijon mustard, dry mustard, salt, and pepper in a food processor. Add the beer mixture and process until smooth.
  • Step 3
    Serve with chips or pretzels.
