This was my original recipe for barbecue sauce, and is very good. Lately, however, I tend to use the one that is on my Aunt Theresa's recipe for BBQ Ribs (in JAP). Barbecue sauce is one that no matter which one you choose, you want to keep switching around periodically! This is one you will want to keep. I love basting it on grilled chicken or pork chops.

Ingredients
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1/3 cup oil
- 4 teaspoons salt
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 3 teaspoons paprika
- 1 1/2 cups ketchup
- 1 cup water
- 3/4 cup vinegar
- 2 - drops hot pepper sauce
- 3 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 2 cloves minced garlic

Step 1Saute onion in oil until soft. Add remaining ingredients, cook 15 min. Keeps indefinitely in fridge.
