I adopted this Bar-B-Que sauce and added my own extra touch's Great for Chicken, Hamburgers, or dipping

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon oil
  • 1 tablespoon crushed garlic
  • 3 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon onion flakes, dehydrated
  • 3 tablespoons vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons molasses
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 teaspoon liquid smoke flavoring
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon mrs dash tomato/basil seasoning
  • 1/2 cup water, cold
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

How To Make bar-b-que sauce

  • Step 1
    Heat oil in pan.
  • Step 2
    Add all ingredients except cornstarch and water, Stir constantly and bring to a simmer.
  • Step 3
    Mix cornstarch with the water and slowly stir in to simmering mixture
  • Step 4
    stir constantly ( about 3 minutes) until mixture thickens,
  • Step 5
    Remove from heat, and brush over chosen meat, cook as you normally would, Or remove one cup of the mixtures and use as a marinade, reserving the rest of the sauce to brush on food while cooking or use for dipping.
  • Step 6
    NOTES: This sauce can be used as a marinade for beef, pork or chicken.
  • Step 7
    Just remove meat from sauce to BBQ, or bake in sauce in oven at 350.
  • Step 8
    Usually marinade enough chicken for 6-8 people in half of this recipe and freeze the other half of the sauce, for another time.
