    onions, cut fine
  • 1/4 c
    salad oil
  • 2 1/2 c
  • 1 c
    tomato paste
  • 2 clove
  • 1/2 c
    chopped parsley
  • 1 1/2 c
  • 1/8 tsp
  • 1 tsp
  • 1 tsp
  • 2
    bay leaves
  • 1 tsp
  • 1 c
  • ·
    cooked spaghetti

How to Make Aunt Adrian's Spaghetti Sauce


  1. Brown ground beef in oil with onions. Add tomatoes and tomato paste.
  2. bring to boil and add garlic, parsley, water, pepper, soda, oregano, basil, bay leaves, salt.
  3. Simmer very slowly for several hours. Just before serving add mushrooms. Use plenty of Parmesan cheese over the cooked spaghetti
