Ingredients
- 4 ounces butter or margarine
- 1/2 teaspoon minced/crushed garlic
- 3/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 1/4 cups half-n-half or carnation evap milk
- dash salt & pepper to taste
How To Make alfredo sauce

Step 1Melt butter in a saute pan, add garlic and allow to meld for 1-2 mins. Stir in half of the cream or whatever you decide to you for your sauce and warm through while stirring. Heat a couple minutes.

Step 2Add 1/2 the Parmesan cheese and swirl around pan. When it begins to melt add 8 ozs. cooked pasta of your choice to saute pan. Add remaining cream and rest of cheese, salt & pepper. Turn pasta over gently into sauce and warm through. Sauce will thicken quickly. Use more cheese if you like. Ready to serve with crusty bread and add any add'l options you've prepared, i.e. bacon bits, mushrooms, steak, chicken, grilled shrimp.
