#1 BBQ Sauce

This is a thin Carolina type sauce, it does not need refrigerated, even after opening. It's great on pulled pork or chicken, if you want to upgrade it to #1+ sauce add another 1/4 tsp cayenne powder and another 1/2 tsp red pepper flake.

  •   2-c
    apple cider vinegar
  •   2-c
  •   1 1/2-c
    brown sugar
  •   7 Tbsp
    sorghum or molasses
  •   2 1/2 tsp
    garlic powder
  •   1/2 tsp
    cayenne pepper
  •   1-tsp
    onion powder
  •   1-tsp
    dry mustard
  •   2-Tbsp
  •   1/2 tsp
    red pepper flakes
  •   4 1/2 Tbsp
    tomato paste
  •   2 Tbsp
    smoke salt

How To Make

  • 1
    Add all ingredients together in a pan and bring to a boil. Decrease heat and let simmer 30 min

    Fill prepared pint jars and put lids on. Allow to seal
