I loaded a batch of this to the big spice container I bought at Costco and no one knew I had make our own mix. This one uses up those older spices so well you won't be dumping old spices..

Ingredients

  • 1/4 c
    dried minced onions
  • 1/4 c
    chili powder
  • 2 tsp
    salt
  • 4 tsp
    cornstarch
  • 1 Tbsp
    granulated garlic
  • 1 Tbsp
    cumin
  • 2 tsp
    beef bouillon granules
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    dried oregano
  • 1 tsp
    red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 Tbsp
    paprika

How to Make Taco Seasoning Mix-Mild

Step-by-Step

  1. Add all ingredients to the food processor and mix thoroughly till this spice mix becomes a fine powder. Place in a large spice container and tape the recipe to the front so you can make more!
  2. Add 2 Tablespoons to ground meat after you have removed the excess fat. Add 1/2 Cup water and simmer for 5-10 minutes.
  3. If you want the seasonings to be hotter add some cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes.
