We love the sweet and tangy taste of this sauce ! It goes great on ribs and chicken. You can always add more crushed red pepper if you want more heat.

  • 2 1/2 c
  • 3/4 c
    apple cider vinegar
  • 1 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/4 c
    pure maple syrup
  • 3 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 3 Tbsp
    liquid smoke flavoring, hickory or mesquite
  • 1 Tbsp
    yellow mustard
  • 1/2 tsp
    smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp
    onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    crushed red pepper
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground white pepper

How to Make Sweet and Tangy BBQ Sauce


  1. In a medium pot whisk together all the ingredients.
    Bring to a boil stirring constantly. Reduce heat and simmer 30 minutes. Stir often as it can scorch easily. Cool before use. Refridgerate left overs.
