so good! teriyaki sauce
I am not sure where I found this recipe, I know that I did not make it up all on my own. It has changed the hearts of Teriyaki haters!

makes about 4 cups
Ingredients
- 2/3 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup red wine
- 1/4 cup sugar (i use organic)
- 1/3 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon red chili pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 cup water
- 1 tablespoon potato or corn starch (for slurry)
How To Make so good! teriyaki sauce

Step 1Place all the ingredients, minus the potato or corn starch, in a sauce pan

Step 2Heat ingredients up over medium-high heat til bubbly

Step 3Mix potato/corn starch to enough water to make a slurry (a slurry is egg white consistency)

Step 4Add slurry to bubbly mixture, heat and stir until the sauce thickens

Step 5Remove from heat and enjoy! Will save in the refrigerator for months if kept sealed
