orange glaze for pork/ham
(1 RATING)
I found this recipe online and am now hooked! We did this on a pork leg but I know this would be fantastic on a ham as well. Went superb with orange yams (which I found posted on this site). Mixes up in five minutes, really!

Ingredients
- 2 jars orange marmalade jam (regular size)
- 2 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
How To Make orange glaze for pork/ham
-
Step 1Mix ingredients altogether. This amount was used for an 11 pound pork leg, adjust as you see fit according to the weight you have. Also,I couldn't find ground cloves so I just used a blender.
-
Step 2Generously rub marinade all over on pork leg or ham. Reserving quite a bit to be used as a warmed topping on the meat for dinner. Let marinade all night.
-
Step 3Tip: I put my pork leg in a turkey bag and this made it super tender! For a pork leg, cook 15 min. per pound and be careful not to overcook.
