This is a different bar-b-que sauce that uses lemons for a nice tanginess. Love to use it for cooking and also for a dipping sauce after, too. Adjust heat to your preference.

- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, mashed
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
- 1 large lemon, thinly sliced

Step 1Cook onion and garlic in butter in medium saucepan until tender. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and let cool for flavors to mingle before serving.
