my family loves this simple marinade and requests it often. Mostly we use it on kabobs but I have marinaded chicken pieces(bone it, cut up) in this, then grilled it for a delicious entre'. Served it with a rice dish. Yum!

  • 1/2 c
    white wine
  • 1/2 c
    olive oil
  • 2 tsp
    lemon juice
  • 4
    bay leaves
  • 2 tsp
    oregano, dried
  • 1/4 tsp
    garlic powder
  • ·
    salt and pepper
  • 1/2
    thinly sliced onion

How to Make Marinade for chicken or pork


  1. pour olive oil, white wine and lemon juice into a bowl. Stir in thinly sliced onion. Break the bayleaves into small pieces and add to liquid, along with all remaining ingredients. I put my meat into a zippered bag and pour the marindade over it
  2. You should marinade your meat for 12-24 hours for best results.
