lucy's steak marinade
This is a simple marinade, but very delicious, passed down to me from my grandmother, Lucy. It is my very favorite marinade for steak. Her original recipe calls for bourbon; I usually use whiskey.
Blue Ribbon Recipe
A great marinade can transform any cut of steak. This marinade is sweet, savory, and tangy. Bourbon adds its smoky flavor to the meat, which we enjoyed. We opted to marinate a New York strip steak in this wonderful marinade. Any cut of steak or even pork would work, too.
