Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup grated onion
  • 6 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 1/2 cup green onions white and light green parts only
  • 1 asian pear peeled and grated
  • 6 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup each saki and mirin
  • 2 tablespoons toasted sesame oil
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon gochujang
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce

How To Make korean marinade

  • Step 1
    Add oil to sauce pan and add the onion, garlic, ginger, green onions and pear and saute until softened.
  • Step 2
    Add the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes. Let come to room temperature.
  • Step 3
    Puree in food processor until smoothened. Use the marinade on any meat or seafood.
