This recipe passed the picky eaters test!!! I use it for spaghetti and lasagna. This makes a big recipe so you can use what you like and freeze the rest til you need it again.

Ingredients
- 28 ounces can stewed tomatoes
- 28 ounces can crushed tomatoes
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 2 - sweet onions, chopped
- 2 - yellow bell peppers, chopped
- 2 - bay leaves, dried
- 5 cloves garlic, chopped
- 2 tablespoons white sugar
- 1 tablespoon basil, dried
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano, dried
- 1/4 cup parsley, fresh, chopped
- - salt to taste
- - pepper to taste
How To Make home made spaghetti sauce

Step 1Blend both cans of tomatoes in blender. In stock pot, brown beef with onions, peppers & garlic. Pour in tomatoes and reduce heat. Add sugar, basil, bay leaves, parsley & oregano. Simmer about 40 minutes.

Step 2Remove bay leaves & season w/ salt & pepper to taste before serving.
