herbed steak rub

I'm not a big fan of steak but a friend of mine had said that he wanted a homemade rub for his steaks. So looking into the many cookbooks I have, I found this rub and made it for him. The results were amazing and when I took a bite of his steak.....it was awesome!

1 1/2 cup rubs
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup dried thyme leaves
- 1/2 cup dried basil leaves
- 1/2 cup dried rosemary leaves
- 2 1/2 tablespoons salt and black pepper
- 2 tablespoons ground red pepper
How To Make herbed steak rub

Step 1Combine all ingredients in a small bowl and crush with the back of a spoon. Store in an airtight container.
