This is excellent for flavoring and tenderizing steaks! It is very easy to make and stores well for a week.
So make this... Get out your grill... and throw on some steaks!

red wine vinegar
1 1/4 c
black coffee (extra strong)
(6 ounces) tomato paste
italian salad dressing
each: salt, pepper, garlic powder
drop liquid smoke
How To Make
Put all ingredients into a sauce pan and bring to a boil. Turn heat down ans simmer for 1/2 an hour. Let cool. Put into 1 quart canning jar (any jar with a lid will do). Refrigerate until needed. Keeps well for about a week.
When ready to use, Put the desired amount into a bowl along with a little water to thin it out if needed. Place meat in the bowl. Coat the meat well. Cover bowl and refrigerate at least 2 hours.
Put the marinated meat on the grill and baste with this marinade a few times while cooking.
*** This is very tasty and helps tenderize the meat.
*** I use this on beef steaks and pork steaks.
