Ingredients

  • 6 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons greek oregano, chopped
  • 1 - lemon, zested
  • 4 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup ouzo
  • - salt and pepper, to taste

How To Make greek seafood marinade

  • Step 1
    Heat the olive oil in small skillet over medium heat.
  • Step 2
    Add garlic and saute for 2-3 minutes to infuse the garlic flavor in the oil.
  • Step 3
    Remove from heat; cool.
  • Step 4
    Combine the garlic mixture and all other ingredients in a small bowl.
  • Step 5
    Marinate fish or shrimp in a zip lock bag for 3-4 hours.
