A simple marinade.

6 Tbsp
extra virgin olive oil
3 Tbsp
garlic, minced
2 tsp
fresh thyme, chopped
1/4 c
fresh basil, chopped
3 Tbsp
greek oregano, chopped
lemon, zested
4 Tbsp
lemon juice
1/4 c
salt and pepper, to taste

How to Make Greek Seafood Marinade


  • 1Heat the olive oil in small skillet over medium heat.
  • 2Add garlic and saute for 2-3 minutes to infuse the garlic flavor in the oil.
  • 3Remove from heat; cool.
  • 4Combine the garlic mixture and all other ingredients in a small bowl.
  • 5Marinate fish or shrimp in a zip lock bag for 3-4 hours.
