Love Paula Deen, Love Salt (just ask my doctor). Paula's house seasoning is just a little too salty for me. So this is what I mix up and keep on hand, for me and to share with family and friends.

How to Make Ginger's House Seasoning

Step-by-Step

  1. I save a large spice shaker (McCormick's) and funnel the ingredients into it. Then I shake the stew out of it until it looks combined.
  2. ***Paula Deen's original recipe calls for 1/4 c. of the pepper and garlic. I like a little more spice and found I wound up using too much and oversalting, so I adjusted it. This is so convenient for meat, potatoes or just about anything!
