This must be made a day in advance, but the outcome is well worth the planning.

Blue Ribbon Recipe

Slightly sweet, spicy, and savory, this marinade recipe will amp up the flavor of your steaks this summer. Flank steak is generally a tough cut of meat, but acidity from the marinade's tomato juice helps to break down the toughness. Chili powder, cumin, soy sauce, and brown sugar add lots of flavor to the marinade. Once the meat rests, slice against the grain for a delicious and juicy flank steak.
