Puncture holes in the steak with a fork and pour marinade over steak.
Let marinate 4 hours, preferably overnight.
Take out of fridge and set out about an hour to get to room temp before grilling.
I like to spoon on the marinade while grilling too. If you want to use the marinade for dipping then just boil it for about 1 minute to kill any bacteria in the marinade.
