I found this recipe in a library cookbook several years ago when I made a big Thanksgiving feast for my family. I hate cranberry sauce but I love this. It was a big hit with my family too. And now they request that I make the Turkey. I've also used this on chicken and ham. Both came out delicious.

Ingredients

  • 1 - 8 ounces can cranberry sauce
  • 1/4 cup apple jelly
  • 1/4 cup light corn syrup

How To Make cranberry apple glaze

  • Step 1
    Mix all ingredients in a 1 quart saucepan.
  • Step 2
    Cook over medium heat about 5 minutes stirring occasionally until melted and smooth.
  • Step 3
    Brush or spoon over meat making sure to get all parts. Repeat several times during cooking.
  • Step 4
    Bonus Tip: To make yur meat moist and delicious... 1. Stab deep holes in the meat in various places including the legs and wings. 2. With a syringe or spoon fill the holes with Cranberry Apple Juice. This only needs to be done once.
