If you love Chinese Garlic Chicken-this is the sauce for you!! It can be used on any meat. I also use it as a dipping sauce.

rice wine vinegar
2 Tbsp
2 Tbsp
shoyu (soy sauce)
2 Tbsp
sherry or red wine
1 tsp
shirachi sauce or tabasco sauce
1/4 tsp
sesame oil
1 1/2 tsp
corn starch
1 Tbsp
1 Tbsp
2 Tbsp
garlic, minced

How to Make Chinese Garlic Sauce


  • 1Heat 1 T oil in small saucepan. Add galic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  • 2Combine vinegar, sugar, shoyu, sherry, shirachi sauce, and sesame oil. Add to garlic. Brng to boil.
  • 3Combine corn starch and water. Add to sauce pan. Stir until thickened.
  • 4Use in stir fry dishes or as a dipping sauce.
