cajun spice
(1 RATING)
This is a recipe for a jar of spices that can be used for just about anything. I put it in soups, stews, casseroles, on eggs and my husband likes it on popcorn! When you follow the recipe and pour the ingredients into the jar at an angle, it looks like sand art. I've given it for gifts and people always ask for the recipe. Hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

How To Make cajun spice
-
Step 1While holding a pint canning jar at an angle, add ingredients to create a 'sand art' look. The salt and cayenne pepper may be divided into smaller portions and used to separate other spices. Simplest to use 7 cups - one with each spice in it and add them to the jar with a spoon to create the look. Shake the contents up before using. OR - simply pour all ingredients in the jar and start using right away! Makes 1 1/2 Cups, total.
