This is a great seasoning for meats, especially hamburgers and chicken to be grilled. I made this one year and put in small shakers to give as Christmas gifts at work. It was a requested gift each year after that.

    26-0z. box of salt
  • 3 Tbsp
    black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 tsp
    onion powder
  • 1 tsp
  • 2 Tbsp
  • 2 Tbsp
    dried parsley flakes
  • 4 Tbsp
    red pepper (cayenne)
  • 2 Tbsp
    chili powder

How to Make Cajun Seasoning


  1. Mix all ingredients in large bowl or coffee can. Store in tightly covered container. May want to fill a shaker to use daily.
