2 1/4 cup glaze

Ingredients

  • 1 c
    honey
  • 1/2 c
    molasses
  • 1/2 c
    bourbon*
  • 1/2 c
    orange juice, fresh
  • 2 Tbsp
    dijon mustard
  • *SUBSTITUTE 1/2 CUP ORANGE JUICE FOR BOURBON, IF YOU LIKE

How to Make Bourbon Glaze for Ham

Step-by-Step

  1. In a 1 quart glass dish, microwave honey and molasses on high power (100%) for 1 minute. Whisk to blend. Whisk in bourbon,juice, and mustard. Cool, spoon into jars and chill.
  2. This can be chilled for up to 1 week. Heat in microwave for 1 minute. Brush warm sauce over ham, the last 20 minutes it bakes, or serve warm on the side with ham.
