Found some blackberry syrup in the pantry that I had to use, so I thawed some chicken, mixed up a bunch of ingredients I had in the cabinets and voila: Pure Yumminess!

Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/2 cup distilled vinegar
- 1 cup red wine, preferably merlot or a burgundy
- 1/2 cup olive oil, extra virgin
- 1/2 teaspoon chipotle chili powder
- 1 teaspoon lemon pepper
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/2 cup blackberry syrup
- 1 tablespoon tabasco chipotle pepper sauce or liquid smoke
How To Make blackberry merlot marinade

Step 1Add all ingredients, whisking until completely combined.

Step 2Use as marinade for beef, pork, chicken and shrimp.
