Another good rub on any piece of beef you get.

Ingredients

  •   3 Tbsp
    cumin seeds
  •   2 Tbsp
    black peppercorns
  •   1 1/2 Tbsp
    paprika
  •   1 Tbsp
    kosher salt
  •   1 stick
    cinnamon stick
  •   2 tsp
    whole allspice
  •   1 tsp
    hot red pepper flakes

How To Make

    Toast cumin in a dry small heavy skillet over medium heat,shaking skillet frequently,until fragrant and a shade darker,about 2 minutes. Cool,then finely grind with remaining ingredients in grinder.

    This rub,when kept in a sealed container will keep for 6 months.
