Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup table salt, non-iodized
  • 3/4 cup finely cut fresh basil leaves

How To Make basil salt

  • Step 1
    Blend ingredients vigorously with a mortar and pestle or if you don't have a mortar and pestle, use a food processor or blender for 3 minutes to release the herb essence.
  • Step 2
    Spread on a small cookie sheet or foil to dry.
