    gochujang paste (or more to taste) - this is very spicy hot, so adjust if necessary
  • 1/3 c
    low sodium soy sauce
  • 1/3 c
    rice wine vinegar
  • 1/4 c
    sesame oil
  • 1 Tbsp
    freshly grated ginger
  • 2 tsp
    fresh garlic, chopped
  • 1/2 c
  • 1 tsp
    fresh lemon juice

How to Make Barbecue Sauce with Gochujung


  1. Place all the ingredients in a blender and blend thoroughly.
  2. Adjust the seasonings to suit your tastes.
  3. Refrigerate, if desired, or use immediately.
