asian inspired ginger-garlic marinade

I threw this together with things I had in my kitchen, and it was AMAZING! It can be used on everything! Fish, shrimp, venison, steak, chicken, and pork! NOTE: If you don't really like honey, you can use a few tablespoons of brown sugar instead. :)

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 4 tablespoons honey or brown sugar
  • 2-3 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger or ginger paste
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
  • 1/2 tablespoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup sake
  • - juice of 1 lime

How To Make asian inspired ginger-garlic marinade

  • Step 1
    Put all ingredients into a large bowl, and whisk everything together until honey (or sugar) has completely dissolved.
  • Step 2
    Marinate meats and seafood at least 2 hours or overnight in the fridge.
