My family not found of the typical cranberry sauce, So I made this pomegranite, orange, apple, cherry sauce. Yes there is cranberry flavoring in here through juice or jelly. Use as You would cranberry sauce on or next to Your turkey. Also great when made into an aioli for Your next day turkey sandwich!

Ingredients

  • 1 c
    pomegranate-cherry juice
  • 1-2 large
    apples chopped small
  • 1 large
    orange juiced and zested
  • 1
    pomegranate seeded
  • 1/4 c
    honey
  • 1/4-1/2 c
    jellied cranberry

How to Make Holiday Fruit Sauce

Step-by-Step

  1. In a medium size pot add Your juice. Turn heat to a med-high. Add Your chopped apple, juice and zest of orange, and Your pomagrante seeds. Cook for about ten minutes stirring till Your apples start to soften.
  2. Turn heat down to a medium-low, add Your honey, stir in Your jellied cranberry (or jelly of choice) Continue to simmer (approx 5-7min) till thickens to Your liking.
    Thats All You have Your own special sauce to serve. We loved it.
    Made a aioli too. Just a few tablespoons of this and Your favorite mayo mixed. Great for that leftover turkey sammy!
