my mom made this for us kids and made homemade bread. yum comfort food for the soul.

2and1/2 lb
ripe peaches
1 tsp
ascorbic acid crystal
6 1/2 c
1 pkg
liquid fruit pectin
1/3 c
lemon juice, fresh


1clean and wash 7 half pint jars. place bands and lid in hot water
2peel and chop peaches to equal 3 cups stir in sugar and let stand for 10min. add lemon juice and pectin
3mix well for 5min. ladlejam in to jars fill 1 in to top wipe rim clean and cover with lid let stand for 24 hr. freeze for 1 year
