Knowing I exploded the containers when I tried Grandma's Strawberry Jam, and had one sticky mess in my first apartment, this was another attempt she gave me...this time in plastic containers!

Ingredients
- 2 cups strawberries, mashed
- 4 cups sugar
- 3/4 cup water
- 1 box sure-jell fruit pectin
How To Make strawberry jam

Step 1Mix berries and sugar then set aside 10 min. Stir sure-jell in water in saucepan, bring to boil stirring constantly. Boil 1 min, remove from heat and stir with berry mixture until sugar is melted and no longer grainy. Pour into plastic containers and cover. Let stand at room temperature 24 hours before serving. Then refrigerate.
