Ingredients
- 2 pounds plums
- 5 1/2 cups plum juice
- 7 1/2 cups sugar
- 6 tablespoons fruit pectin, powdered
How To Make plum jelly

Step 1Place 2 lbs plums in enough water to cover them and boil for 30 minutes to get juice. Strain using a sieve or a strainer. Let cool before straining juice. Bring 5 1/2 cups plum juice to a rolling boil; add 6 TBSP Fruit Pectin and bring to another rolling boil; add sugar. Boil til juice runs clear and spins a thread. Let set approximately 15 to 20 minutes then skim off the top. Pour into 9 to 10 clean half pint jars and seal.
