plum jelly
I gave this to a friend here on JAP and decided to post the recipe for anyone else that loves plum jelly like Lawanda and I do . This recipe came from the Kerr canning pamphlet.

Ingredients
- - ripe plums
- - sugar
- - jelly bag or a sieve
- - canning jars
- - canning caps and rings
How To Make plum jelly

Step 1wash plums , cover with cold water and boil until plumbs are soft. press through jelly bag , strain and measure. Bring the juice to a boil , Add 3/4 cup of sugar for each cup of juice and boil rapidly to jelly stage. Pour into sterilized jars and fill to 1/2" of top .put on cap and band , screw tightly and water bath for 5 minutes. :-D
